Major Goal Achieved!
It has taken a few years. We have even breached the Best Before date on the bucket, but the Vegemite is finally all used up.
When we first got the bucket of Vegemite, the concept of eating through just under 1kg of this sensational spread was mind boggling. Even for an avid fan like myself, it is a significant task. To be honest, I have eaten most of it as well. My gorgeous wife likes it but is more of a fan of other spreads. But toast by toast we got there.
You are probably thinking, “What a weirdo” or “who really cares”. Fair point. But I draw this to your attention to consider what else have you achieved, seemingly meaninglessly, as your life passes? What else seemed huge but over time, finally succumbed to the regularity of what you are doing?
Some people in my life are doing further study. Some a PhD, others a Masters and some just recreational study. Friends of ours who are parents seem astounded that they cute little child now drives, has a job or even children of their own! Personally, I have continued to immerse myself in research and studies on virtual and hybrid learning. To the point that my opinion seems highly regarded. All I did, all our friends did, and all anyone ever does is just progress one little piece at a time.
So what is your seemingly insurmountable goal?
How can you approach it one small piece at a time?
If you simply stick at it, you too can slowly but surely get through your entire bucket of Vegemite and get ready for the next one!
